To mark a decade in publishing, Kinfolk, an independent quarterly lifestyle magazine, decided to start something new: a bi-annual magazine for people with children titled Kindling.
London-based creative agency Alex Hunting Studio was commissioned to develop the design direction for the new title.

Kindling isn't a parenting magazine in the traditional sense. It sets out to explore new ideas and fresh perspectives that come with raising a child. For design inspiration, the team behind Alex Hunting Studio drew visual cues from old educational texts in children's workbooks.
